Metropolia reserves all rights to modify amounts and prices of items. 

General information:

• This is the website for all the information regarding Metropolia computer sales. Please see this website for updates.
• Computers or any other devices are sold only during sales.
• Sales are arranged 1-2 times a year.
• Sale locations and items for sale can be found below.
• Sale is open first for Metropolia students and staff only and the last two days will be open for everyone.
• Only ONE product from ONE category per customer for first three hours on each sale day!
  
• First come first serve. Inventory is sold as it is and we can't guarantee availability of products!
  
• HOWEVER, interesting products, such as gaming capable PCs, projectors and laptops, will be made available every days beginning (restocked) to guarantee equal opportunity to all queuing buyers.

What is included:

• There is NO operation system installed. Apple products are a exception. Some computers might have digital license for Windows 10 Home or older.
• It's the buyers responsibility to check if devices officially support Windows 11 unless stated otherwise.
• To install Windows, follow the instructions in this guide. (Suomeksi)

PC packages

• Monitors include a power cable and a DisplayPort, VGA or DVI cable, as long as we have spare cables.
• Computers include a keyboard, mouse and a power cable, as long as we have them in stock.

PC Units

• Includes only PC unit. If there are enough power cables, they might be included.

Monitors

• Monitors include a power cable and a DisplayPort, VGA or DVI cable, as long as we have spare cables.

Devices have been tested and will be sold in a working condition.

The buyer is responsible for transporting bought products by themself.

Payments:

• All purchased items must be paid by CASH or Debit/Credit card. Card recommended. Please take an exact amount of cash with you, as change cannot be guaranteed at the sales event.
• Prices are not negotiable.
• No reservations.
• No inquiries.

Parking:

• Very limited amount of free parking places are available on the roadsides of the nearby streets.
• Paid parking available close to campus at Liikunta areena and Liikuntamylly.
• Multiple public transportation methods available next to the campus so car is not necessarily needed. Just bring your IKEA bag or cardboard box with you to carry computer package.
  
  
  

Warranty:

• Devices are sold as is, and have no warranty. All devices have been tested prior to sales. For example, Hard drives are in that condition as they are, with or without some bad sectors. In case the computer you purchased would have any BIG problems, please contact Helpdesk within 7 days of purchase and we will try to help you.
   

  BIOS password

  If your computer has an operating system installed on it, please either format the HDD or exchange it for a wiped replacement unit from Myllypuro Helpdesk.

iMacs

• Keep in mind that iMacs are officially supported by Apple only 7 to 8 years from their release.
• Sold without mice or keyboard.

Laptops

• Battery rating if stated defined by manufacturers rating and test. Actual health may vary and we don't give any guarantees of how long the battery will last
• There is NO operation system installed. Some computers might have digital license for Windows 10 Home or older.
