  • Remove dust, dirt and grease by swiping the writing surface with a damp cloth or swampsponge. Use mild soap when needed.
  • Do not spray a cleaning solution directly on the interactive surface. Instead, spray a small amount of the solution on a cloth with which to swipe the interactive surface.
  • Do not let the excess solution run onto the reflecting surfaces of the frame.
  • Do not touch the digital cameras mounted to the upper corners of the frame. Do not try to clean out the digital cameras unless specifically instructed to do so by SMART Technologies.
  • If ink gets by mistake onto the surface of the interactive board, remove the ink as quickly as possible. The longer ink stays on the surface the more difficult it is to clean it off.
  • Do not apply strong chemicals or abrasive cleaners to the interactive surface.
  • Before you clean the interactive board, unplug the USB cable.
  • You can see dirt and stripes better if you set the projector to standby mode (lamp turned off).
