General information:

• This is the website for all the information regarding Metropolia computer sales. Please see this website for updates.
• Computers or any other devices are sold only during sales.
• Sales are arranged 2-4 times a year.
• Sale locations and items for sale can be found below.
• Sale is open for everyone, unless otherwise specified

What is included:

• PC packages
• Monitors include a power cable and a DisplayPort, VGA or DVI cable, as long as we have spare cables.
• Computers include a keyboard, mouse and a power cable, as long as we have them in stock.
• No operating system included! Although computers might have unactivated Windows license (sticker), we cannot guarantee that it is unactivated.
• iMacs:
• Comes with Mac OS X 10.11.x pre-installed, can be upgraded to newer macOS for free.
• If macOS upgrade via AppStore is not possible, use a bootable macOS installer USBstick or contact helpdesk.
• Devices have been tested and will be sold in a working condition.
• The buyer is responsible for transporting the computer by him/herself.

Payments:

• All purchased items must be paid by CASH or Debit/Credit card. Card recommended. Please take an exact amount of cash with you, as change cannot be guaranteed at the sales event.
• Prices are not negotiable.
• No reservations.

Parking:

• The parking area on Vanha Maantie side is for students between hours 07-21 and without parking permit.
• The parking area behind the gate is meant for teachers and can be used only with parking permit.
• Illegally parked cars and motorcycles will be issued a 40 € ticket.
  
  
  

Warranty:

• Devices are sold as is, and have no warranty. All customers have possibility to test their devices at selling location. Fex. harddrives are in that condition as they are, with or without some bad sectors. In case the computer you purchased would have any BIG problems, please contact your local Helpdesk within 7 days of purchase and we will try to help you.

Rules for buying a projector:

• There will be projectors reserved for student saledays!
• Projectors are sold as they are, with no warranty.
• Returns after the days sale are not accepted. Buyers will have a chance to test the projectors after the purchase, and return them right after purchase if they're not satisfied with the condition of the projector.
• We're selling three categories of projectors:
  
  • working projectors- we provide info of the condition of the projector, lamp hours etc.
  • repairable projectors - we provide the info of the problem.
  • sparepart projectors - not working at all or beyond repair, BUT good source for the spareparts.
