Canva
Canva is a browser-based graphic design and image editing app whose concept is based on simplicity and user-friendliness. The application was founded by Melanie Perkins, who taught image processing at an Australian university. Perkins and her students grew frustrated with the complexity of available graphic design programs.
The application aims for user-friendliness by utilizing ready-made templates. Graphic libraries include images, symbols, icons, and compositions.
The basic version of Canva is free for users, while additional features are available for a fee.

User experiences
- "I have been using Canva for a long time and have even trained others in its use - I really like it! It allows you to easily create nice-looking designs for both online and printable formats."
- "I've tried it, but it has somehow felt illogical despite its simplicity :-D My skills, however, come from the Pagemaker and Photoshop 1.0 era."
