User Accounts in Pop & Jazz Conservatory, The Helsinki Conservatory of music and the Heltech staff user account acquisition process
- Supervisor provides the Metropolia IT support with the necessary information about a new employee.
- Contact person transmits the needed information to Metropolia Helpdesk.
- Metropolia IT support informs to contact person when the account paper is ready to be printed.
- Contact person prints the new user account, checks users identity, and gives the account paper to user.
- User activates the account following the instructions on the account paper.

Your contact person is usually the person who gives you your account paper at the very first time in Metropolia.
- Contact person transmits the needed information to Metropolia Helpdesk.
- first name, last name,| social security number, function where account is need for, validity
- In addition, users who act in Metropolia departments title, main department and Metropolia internal phone number. Mobile phone number only with the permission of account user.
- Metropolia Helpdesk sends the account paper to contact person.
- Contact person checks user's identity, and gives the account paper to user.
- User activates the account following the instructions on the account paper.
User account is locked
If your user account is locked, contact your contact person.
Forgotten passwords
You can get a new password only by visiting personally a Helpdesk service point or your contact person.
Please, be ready to provide an official document as proof of identity.
We cannot send passwords by e-mail or SMS!
