You may import a student or a group of students to Peppi via OILI export or with an excel file.

You may import the study rights via an interface directly from the national OILI service. The data will be imported into an in-process inventory, where it will be completed with the information on the study right template.

The students may be created as single students or groups of students (Excel/CSV) in the system. The import will complete student data with the information on the study right template. For more information on how to create a study right template, visit the study right templates (linkki tähän) page.

OILI import

  1. Select Students -> OILI import
  2. Select the study rights imported from OILI service (or Excel) that you want to edit.
  3. Select a template for the chosen student group from Set a study right template to the selected ones.
  4. Edit the students’ data with Set a study right template to the selected ones.
    1. If necessary, change the degree programme or the education type.
    2. Select Save.
  5. Make the right selection in the Create study rights function.
    1. Create study rights – creates the student and the study right to the system
    2. Transfer only student’s basic data – creates only the student in the 
    3. systemDo not transfer – cancels the operation
  6. Select Execute -> OK

CSV / Excel import

  1. On the study management desktop, select Students -> OILI import from the top navigation.
  2. Select Excel / CSV tab.
  3. Click or tap Select study right template.
  4. Upload a csv / excel file, which includes the student data you want to import to the system.
  5. On this page, you may use a template to import the the students and their study rights.
  6. Select Send file.

Creating a single student

  1. On the study management desktop, select Students -> Student administration from the top navigation.
  2. From the upper right corner, select Add student and fill out the form.
  3. Add the template you want into the Create study right field. The student data will be completed with the template data.
