- The employee and the supervisor sign the contract.
- The supervisor provides the Metropolia IT support with the necessary information about a new employee.
- The contact person transmits the needed information to Metropolia Helpdesk.
- Metropolia IT Services informs to contact person when the account slip is ready to be printed.
- The contact person prints out the new user account, checks users identity, and gives the account slip to the user.
- The user activates the account.

- Accepts the terms of use
- Changes the password
The activation password is valid for 45 days, after that you have to get a new activation password. Instructions for getting a new activation password are the same as in the case of forgotten password.

Forgotten passwords
Staff at Helsinki Conservatory of Music and Helsinki Pop & Jazz Conservatory can request a new password slip from their contact person.
Helteck staff can request a new password slip from their contact person who requests the slip from Metropolia Helpdesk.
It is prohibited to send user IDs, password slips and passwords as e-mail or text messages.
