  1. Contact person transmits the needed information to Metropolia Helpdesk.
    • first name, last name, social security number, function where account is need for, validity
    • In addition, users who act in Metropolia departments title, main department and Metropolia internal phone number.
  2. Metropolia Helpdesk sends the account slip to contact person.
  3. Contact person checks user's identity, and gives the account slip to user.
  4. User activates the account following the instructions on the account slip.

The activation password is valid for 45 days, after that you have to get a new activation password. Instructions for getting a new activation password are the same as in the case of forgotten password.
