Running macros in Excel or Access files downloaded from the internet is disabled for security reasons. However, it is possible to run macros when the file is opened from a trusted location.
Browsers typically save files to the user's Downloads folder, which is not a trusted location. When attempting to open a file from an untrusted location, a message with pink background text will appear indicating that macros have been disabled.
The trusted locations at Metropolia include:
- U network drive with its subfolders
- P network drive with its subfolders
- Personal network drive "Z" with its subfolders
- Documents folder with its subfolders located in the user's profile
Makrojen suorittaminen internetistä ladatuissa Excel- tai Access-tiedostoissa on tietoturvasyistä estetty. Makrojen suorittaminen on kuitenkin mahdollista, kun ko. tiedosto avataan ns. luotetusta sijainnista.
Selaimet tallentavat tiedostot useimmiten käyttäjän profiilin Downloads-kansioon, joka ei ole luotettu sijainti. Kun tiedostoa yritetään avata ei-luotetusta sijainnista, makrojen estämisestä ilmoitetaan kuvassa näkyvällä tekstillä vaaleanpunaisella pohjalla.
Metropoliassa luotetut sijainnit ovat
- U-verkkolevy alikansioineen
- P-verkkolevy alikansioineen
- henkilökohtainen verkkolevy "Z" alikansioineen
- käyttäjän profiilissa sijaitseva Documents-kansio alikansioineen (C:\Users\käyttäjätunnususername\Documents)
