Evaluation

  1. Select the module Implementation Assessment

  2. Search for the implementation and go to evaluation module

    • Search for the implementation by any criteria. You may also use the links on the left side: My ongoing implementations, My future implementations or My old implementations.
    • After the search the results appear below the search fields.
  3. Registered students and adding a non-registered student

    • The evaluation view shows the students that have registered to the course, except for the students that have been rejected from the course.
    • A non-registered student may be added the following way:
      • Select Add student
      • Search the right student using the pop-up window
      • Pick the right student(s) from the list
      • Save
  4. Parts of the implementation

    • If the implementation consists of parts, their visibility may be adjusted from the buttons at the top right corner: Hide the parts / Show parts
  5. Setting the evaluator

    • Default evaluator of the implementation is the teacher of the implementation.
    • If this information is incorrect, it may be changed
      • for all students by clicking the button Set default evaluator / (Aseta oletusarvioija) button and selecting the right evaluator
      • for each student separately by clicking the pen symbol on the right side of the student's row and changing the evaluator
  6. Managing columns in the evaluation view

    • You may add or remove columns by clicking the Columns button on the top right corner.
    • Tick the boxes that you wish to be shown in the evaluation view.
  7. Evaluation (without parts)

    • Add the grade for each student using the drop-down boxes in the column Grade
    • There is no separate Save button; the grade is automatically saved and the icon on the left side of the row turns green.
  8. Evaluation (implementation consists of parts)

    • Adding parts

      • Adding parts to students that are yet to be graded
        • If the share of the part is defined, add a column Weight of the grade.
        • Click Add implementation part
        • Add the desired amount of parts and their credits. Credits need to equal the total amount of the credits of the implementation.
        • After adding the parts, click Add
      • Adding parts for individual student
        • Click the arrow icon at the end of the row
        • Select Add implementation part
        • Select the right amount of parts for the student
        • Enter the credits. Credits need to equal the total amount of the credits of the implementation.
        • After adding the parts, click Add
    • Editing parts (all students)

      • Click Edit parts
      • In the following window you may remove or edit the part
      • In the evaluation view, if you add the column Weight of the grade, it will be shown as well
    • Evaluation

      • You may add the weight factor (column Weight of the grade) to give a desired weight to each part of the implementation.
  9. Editing the credits

    • Edit the credits in the column Cr for each student, if needed.
  10. Adding a retake grade

    • Click the arrow icon at the end of the row
    • Choose Add re-completation
    • In the new window, select grade, date and evaluator.
  11. Editing a grade

    • Click the arrow icon at the end of the row
    • Choose Correct the completation and edit the grade in the new window
  12. Deleting a grade

    • Click the arrow icon at the end of the row
    • Choose Delete and OK
  13. Removing the student

    • Click the arrow icon at the end of the row
    • Choose Remove student / Poista opiskelija toteutukselta --> OK
  14. Reports

    • Click Reports and choose the desired report type
  15. Grading history

    • Click on the icon "i" in front of the student's name
