General information:

• This is the website for all the information regarding Metropolia computer sales. Please see this website for updates.
• Computers or any other devices are sold only during sales.
• Sales are arranged 2-4 times a year.
• Sale locations and items for sale can be found below.
• Sale is open first for Students and Staff only and last day will be open for everyone.
• Only ONE product per customer!

What is included:

PC packages

• Monitors include a power cable and a DisplayPort, VGA or DVI cable, as long as we have spare cables.
• Computers include a keyboard, mouse and a power cable, as long as we have them in stock.
• There are NO operation system installed. Some computers might have digital license for Windows 10 Home.

PC Units

• Includes only PC unit. If there are enough power cables, they might be included.

• iMacs:
• Comes with Mac OS X 10.11.x pre-installed, can be upgraded to newer macOS for free.
• If macOS upgrade via AppStore is not possible, use a bootable macOS installer USBstick or contact helpdesk.

Devices have been tested and will be sold in a working condition.

The buyer is responsible for transporting the computer by him/herself.

Payments:

• All purchased items must be paid by CASH or Debit/Credit card. Card recommended. Please take an exact amount of cash with you, as change cannot be guaranteed at the sales event.
• Prices are not negotiable.
• No reservations.

Parking:

• Limited amount of free parking places are available for 2 or 4 hours on the roadsides of the nearby streets.
• Paid car parks are located behind Liikuntamylly Sports Center and under the shopping center Myllypuron ostari Q-Park.
• Two disabled parking places are located in Liikuntamylly Sports Center car park, which is situated between Liikuntamylly and Ring I highway.
• Myllypuro metro station is next to the campus so car might be not needed. Just bring your IKEA bag or cardboard box with you to carry computer package.
  
  
  

Warranty:

• Devices are sold as is, and have no warranty. All devices have been tested prior to sales. For example, Hard drives are in that condition as they are, with or without some bad sectors. In case the computer you purchased would have any BIG problems, please contact Helpdesk within 7 days of purchase and we will try to help you.
   

  If your computer has a BIOS password still in it, please follow these instructions to reset it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_48TboigK9g If your computer has an operating system installed on it, please either format the HDD or exchange it for a wiped replacement unit from Myllypuro helpdesk. Rules for buying a projector:

• Projectors does NOT include power cable
• There are some remotes for Hitachi projectors to include
• Projectors are sold as they are, with no warranty. They have been tested.
  
• Returns after the days sale are not accepted.
