Background

Sympa HR is a personnel management system developed by Sympa Oy.

Purpose

Metropolia personnel matters from establishing employment to terminating it are managed in Sympa. Rectruitement is managed separately in the recruitment system, from where the selected person's data is transferred to Sympa. Also absences and vacation time is requested in Sympa.

Access permissions

Access permission to Sympa is given to Metropolia staff.

Browser compatibility

Sympa's compatibility with web browsers is tested with the following browsers and their versions:

• Chrome (latest version)
• Firefox (latest version, not ESR)
• Microsoft Edge (latest version)
• Safari (latest version)
• Other web browsers and versions: Sympa can be used with other browsers and versions but compatibility with them is not tested. Sympa is being developed in accordance with general web standards avoiding specific browser dependencies.
