1. Contact Helpdesk by phone at 09 7424 6777 or by making a service request at https://hd.metropolia.fi. You will receive a service request number and instructions.
2. Remove personal accounts from the phone or tablet that you are returning. (Settings > Accounts).
3. Remove the PIN code. Look for instructions on the web by making a Google search. If you need help removing the PIN code, contact Helpdesk phone service at 09 7424 6777.
4. If you are changing a phone, take the SIM card from your old phone and put it in the new phone.
5. Attach a note on the device with the word 'Helpdesk' written on the note. Write also the service request number on the note.
5. Leave the device in the reception to be picked up the Helpdesk.
If you are returning an old device in return for a new one, you do not need to contact Helpdesk. Just write the service request number on a note attached to the device.
Make backups of your files, pictures, etc. before returning a device. Helpdesk wipes all data on the device after which file recovery will be impossible. |
