Using Inbox rules, you can automatically forward or redirect emails sent to your mailbox to another account.
Creating a rule is not possible in the Light Version of Outlook Web App. Ensure that the Light Version option is not selected in the login window. |

How to Automatically Redirect All Messages to Another Account
- Sign in to your account and go to Settings menu (gear icon in top right corner).
- Select Options.
- Select Mail and then Inbox and sweep Rules.
- On the Inbox and sweep Rules tab, choose New.
- Set up the rule: under When the message arrives, select Apply to all messages.
- Under Do the following, choose Redirect the message to.
- Select the address to which you want to send your messages by double-clicking it in the Address Book view. If the address is not listed, you can type it into the To field.
- Save your selection by clicking OK and return to the New Rule window.
- Save the rule by clicking Save and return to the Inbox Rules tab.
Good to Know
Redirecting and forwarding messages are not the same:
- Redirected messages appear to come from the original sender. When replying to a redirected message, your reply goes to the original sender.
- Forwarded messages appear to come from your address. When replying to a forwarded message, your reply goes to the address that forwarded the message, not to the original sender.
Copies of redirected and forwarded messages remain in your Inbox.
