Metropolia staff user account acquisition process
- Employee enters a contract with the supervisor.
- President gives signed contract to Personnel Administration department.
- Personal Secretary enters the new employee's information in the HR system and Winha.
- Personal Secretary prints the new user account, checks users identity, and gives the account paper to user.
- User activates the account following the instructions on the account paper.
The activation password is valid for 45 days, after that you have to get a new activation password. Instructions for getting a new activation password are the same as in the case of forgotten password.
User account is locked
If you are a Metropolia staff member and your account is locked before the expiry of your employment contract period, contact the personnel secretary.
Forgot your password?
- You can get a new password only by visiting personally a Helpdesk service point or the personnel secretary.
- The password can be printed and send to the janitor of your department. Make a service request in which you state clearly at which Metropolia location you would like to pick up the password sheet.
- Please be ready to provide an official document as evidence of your identity.
- If nessesary, in some cases, we can send a password by post as registered letter.
We cannot send passwords by e-mail or SMS!
