If a computer has to be rebooted after an update, automatic rebooting is done only during the permitted time window, between 8:45 PM and 7:30 AM, MON-SUN.If there are software that need to be restarted after reboot or if updates were installed, a notification will be displayed on the screen. By default, the reboot takes place two hours after the update. The reboot can be postponed max. 24 hours. in the maintenance window.
Staff laptops check at 12 if they need a reboot. If reboot is needed, user has 4 hours to reboot their machine until reboot is forced.
