- Metropolia user account and device maintained by IT Services is needed to access the network
- authentication 802.1x / PEAP
- encryption: WPA2+AES
- network services: internet access and Metropolia public services, internal services by role of the user
WLAN settings
A wireless network is available to visitors in all locations of Metropolia. The network is available to the students, staff and visitors of Metropolia.
Allowed services are all public services of Metropolia and the Internet via HTTP/S, SSH, IMAP/S, SMTPS, FTP, IPSec, RealPlayer, RTMP, XMPP and Citrix. There's no access to Metropolia's internal services (administrative systems, network drives, etc.).
