- access with Metropolia user account and guest account

- network services: internet access and public Metropolia services
Metropolia internal network
- SSID: metropolia-secure
- Metropolia user account and device maintained by IT Services is needed to access the network
- authentication 802.1x / PEAP
- encryption: WPA2+AES
Followin networks will be phased out during autumn of 2014
Metropolia student network (instructions)
- replaced with eduroam
- SSID: metropolia-student
- access with Metropolia student and staff user accounts
- authentication: 802.1x/PEAP
- ecryption: WPA/TKIP ja WPA2/AES
- network services: internet access and Metropolia public Metropolia services, some intranet student services
Metropolia staff network
- replaced with metropolia-secure
- Metropolia staff user account and a laptop maintained by IT Services needed to access the network
- staff laptops connect to the network automatically
- can be accessed at the moment using Windows operating system only
- Mac and Linux users can access staff services using the Staff virtual machine
- network services: internet access and public Metropolia services, staff intranet servicesinternal services by role of the user
