Microsoftin ohjeessa on kuvattu muutama erilainen tapa myöntää käyttöoikeuksia jaettaviin tiedostoihin. Kaikkein turvallisin tapa on Tietyt henkilöt / Specific People. Sillä tavoin kukaan ulkopuolinen ei pääse käsiksi jakamaasi tiedostoon.
Kun olet jakanut tiedoston, siitä lähtee automaattisesti linkki niille henkilöille, joille olet sen jakanut (ellet ole käyttänyt Kuka tahansa -käyttöoikeuksia, jolloin saat jakamisvaiheessa linkin jaettavaksi vastaanottajille).

The Microsoft guide describes several different ways to grant permissions to shared files. The most secure way is to use "Specific People" so that only designated individuals have access to the shared file. This ensures that no unauthorized individuals can access the shared file.
When you share a file, a link is automatically sent to the people you have shared it with (unless you have used "Anyone" permissions, in which case you receive a link during the sharing process to distribute to the recipients).
