If you are a student, use the eduroam network as your primary option, and if unavailable, use the metropolia-guest network as a secondary option. If you are a visitor, use the metropolia-guest network. |
Carefully follow the instructions for using the networks.
- Make sure to log in to the network with the correct username format.
- For the eduroam network, use the format username@metropolia.fi.
- For the metropolia-guest network, use only the short username (without the @metropolia.fi suffix).
- Remove/forget the network from your computer.

- Try reconnecting to the network.
- If you are using the eduroam network, try using the eduroam Configuration Assistant Tool (Windows, macOS, iOS, Linux).
- Try connecting your computer to another wireless network, such as using your phone's hotspot network.
- If you cannot connect your computer to any other wireless networks, follow the appropriate troubleshooting instructions for your device.
